WELCOME
If you’ve found your way here, you might be searching for an answer to something that doesn’t quite have words yet. You may have spent a long time trying to understand or think your way around what’s going on, but something still doesn’t fully click. There’s a sense that your body knows there’s more to it, even if your mind can’t quite pin it down.
Most of the people I work with don’t arrive with a label - they just know something doesn’t feel right.
My work is body-led, trauma-informed, and very human. We go at your pace, starting with what’s here, and building safety first. There’s no pressure to perform, analyse, or relive anything; we meet you as you are.
A lot of the work is talking - being truly heard and making sense of things, and having space to slow down. For some people, once there’s enough safety and trust, I also offer gentle trauma processing using bilateral stimulation, to help experiences that feel stuck begin to move and settle. This is always optional, and something we explore together if it feels right.
Over time, this work can help you feel more settled, more connected to yourself, and less at war with what’s going on inside. Old patterns soften, emotions move when they’re ready, and there’s often a growing sense of ease and choice in everyday life.
You don’t need the right words or a clear story to begin. If your body is asking for support, that’s enough.
About me
Hi! I'm Théa (you say it like Tayah).
I’m a trauma-informed somatic counsellor, but first and foremost I’m a deeply attuned, curious human who cares about how people actually experience being in a room together. I value honesty, warmth, and authenticity, and I aim to create a space where anything can be brought - and met - with acceptance.
I’m creative by nature, and that way of being naturally finds its way into my sessions. No two sessions are ever the same, because no two people or moments are the same - a way of working that brings me a lot of joy!
My work is shaped by my own lived experience, and by a deep respect for how much it matters to be met and truly seen. I see therapy as a shared space - one where being witnessed with empathy can be enough to begin changing things, and allowing emotion to move through.
